I’m incredibly pleased with this product and believe it’s the best copper mug I’ve found yet.Unlike most, these mugs are solid copper, not copper plated. You can really notice the difference when you hold one, and it makes your drink all that more special. The handles on these mugs are also soldered on, not pinned through the cup. This allows the interior of the cup to be a flat, smooth, uninterrupted surface which doesn’t collect germs and mold like the pinned-handle cups can develop around the pinholes.The hammering effect is spot on and looks great, the size is perfect, the handles are comfortable. If you want a quicker patina on these (oxidized, aged look) you can take some fine steel wool to the outer coating to expose more raw copper and use them normally for a month or two also. It’s completely safe to drink from and looks great. Throw a few in the freezer before entertaining guests, thanks to the copper they’ll stay wicked cold for a long time and they’re lots of fun to use. They’re also easy to restore to a nice new-looking shine with some salt and vinegar scrub any time you feel like it.The accessories that came with the set were very nice as well. Excellent product.I’ll be back to buy more of these as gifts.
